In my day, there were missals with Latin and English text without which I would have been lost.
Frankly, I like the priest facing the congregation but miss the choir.
These days, I have to buy a ticket to a commercial theater to hear sacred music.
The last time I heard the Gregorian chants sung by a choir in a church was in Washington DC a quarter century ago. I can easily recollect the experience to this day
Beautiful JD🙏 Thank you for sharing this wonderful experience not enough can enjoy. I am a living testament to the power of our Lord. Given a three month lifespan due to cancer throughout me. Two sets of Rosaries from Lourdes France and thousands of prayers to our Father, our Lord and Mother, and still here to praise the love and power of God🙏💕. You may not love God, but he loves you. Just ask him for help, and he’ll listen😊
