I agree with most of todays writing , except for the beginning chapters of this write up . Most of what You have said at the beginning seems to be a moral story. Just My opinion, What You say about the monetary conundrums is definitely true.

Sad and alarming explanation of the decline of the USA.

Great visuals and splendid text.

I used to think that the mature men and women elected to Congress, especially those who serve on the House and Senate Appropriations Committees, would realize the truisms you explained.

Frankly, because the members of these committees -- and of the entire Congress -- year after year, decade after decade, continue to spend money far in excess of our governments tax receipts, our mighty ship of state, the US of A, is destined to hit the shoals of fiscal reality.

I suspect it will accelerate toward this impact when Trump's minion replaces the current Federal Reserve Chairman

This person will drop interest rates to zero, which will drop the purchasing power of our dollar and diminish the appeal of foreigners to lend us money to close the gap between our national revenue and our national runaway spending

DOGE sounded good but its execution was and remains awful. We can put a man on the moon but can't sensibly eliminate or transfer to the private sector unnecessary government services
