Trump is guilty (and how) of all the charges JD has laid at his feet. I would never vote for Trump. But if the alternative is Kamala Harris then I will vote for Trump on any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

I wonder, just where did all (any) of the statesman go that once sought and achieved national office? Why are we stuck with the 2-party, lesser of 2 evils choices our Gov't elections have devolved to?

I'll note, local elections do mean a lot and if nothing else, I believe we all need to continue. I'd add we need be informed voters, but somehow that important aspect of citizenship has slipped through too many cracks. In the 21st century with the World's Information in our pocket (even possible via voice command), many -perhaps most- won't truly know that for which they cast their ballet.

I'm not a big Trump fan but I do respect him for not bowing and kissing the ring of the Military Industrial Complex (MIC) thugs. Right now, every nationally known politician who has had any inclination for the Presidency is solid in bed with the MIC except Trump and RFK Jr. The Kennedys are famous for getting taken out for opposing the MIC and now Trump is in danger of joining the club.
The hatred for Trump is a lot deeper than people pissed off because he's a bull in the China closet. Trump is threatening to disrupt the oldest institution in America and that's the vastly over bloated unregulated military machine that is sucking the life out of the middle class. If there is any hope for this country, its sure not coming from the likes of drones like Kamala Harris.

What are us lowly proles to do? The choices the elites / deep state offer are repugnant. And, at best, there is little difference between. Both are dead set on destroying America with wars everywhere, open borders, and spending like drunk sailors (no disrespect meant to "sailors"). The "die is cast" and America swirls around the drain faster and faster. There is no sane path forward - all one can do is prepare as one can for the expected and expect the unexpected. Truly ugly.
