Eloquent. poignant explanation of the creation and intent of the Declaration of Independence.

I look forward to similar explanations of the creation of our Constitution, especially why it nor any of its Amendments do not mandate a balanced budget.

And the tripping points by which the states ceded their sovereignty to a central government comprised of three branches one of which -- the Congress -- is currently capitulating its duties and obligations to the Executive.

Worse, the powers it is ceding is to a office currently occupied by a man with indisputable abominable character traits (sexual assault; tax cheating convicted felon, draft dodger, incorrigible and well documented liar, etc.) who also has an appalling ready-fire-aim disposition and now apparently using his office for financial gain.

Agreed. Those founders who declared independence from a monarch 250 years ago would be horrified.

The founders horror would have begun with Abraham Lincoln, the first true President Tyrant And literally every president since has built upon this tyranny and every congress/ SCOTUS since has rubber stamped it.
