De Architectura
Like many buried masterpieces, Vitruvius’s work was exhumed toward the outset of the Renaissance, and returned readers to the inspiration of Greece and glory of Rome. Time to dig it up again.
[NB: A few months ago, I completed a Preparation anchor course at the Shelter Institute. One of the readings I assigned myself was De Architectura by Vitruvius. I last read it a few decades ago, at the College of Architecture at Georgia Tech. This is my assessment after absorbing it again.]
